To be nobody-but-yourself -- in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else -- means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.

Wordless Wednesday: Yes, for Wacky Wednesday, I *do* let Kiddo out of the house dressed like that
My kids dress like that all the time since I've started letting them dress themselves. It's so not worth the battle... pick out their clothes for them, listen to the whining, pull my hair out trying to get them dressed OR... give them the power of matching patterns with solids. It's a gamble but in the end, all the teachers and other moms look at me like I'm color blind. Oh well!
My future DIL looks Fabulous!!! Sadly her future husband doesn't have a lick of fashion sense, so she is going to have be laying out his clothes for a very long time!
I love it! And I let my children pick out their clothes all the time. Once my daughter wore an elephant costume to Whole Foods...wait, that was last week!

Have you BEEN in the classroom lately? She looks pretty normal.
Oh, wait, maybe that's just because I'm comparing her to my DD.
:-)
I loved Wacky Wednesday! I miss it ... because Helena would fit right in pretty much any day of the week.

She looks great! I love the mismatched quality and all the colors! And that rainbow thing in her hair is cool too!
