Fishful thinking and a Target gift card giveaway, too!

One of my blogosphere friends, Tiffany (she's one of the fantabulous women behind SITS, among other things), is part of a cool, new initiative by Pepperidge Farms called "Fishful Thinking" that is all about fostering optimism and resilience in children. To put it more succinctly, I shall quote their website: "The Goldfish® brand cares about kids and wants to help inspire them to become the successes they were born to be. Through the Fishful ThinkingSM program, Goldfish provides parents with tools to help teach their kids how to navigate obstacles, overcome failure and achieve what they want." How cool is that? Anyhow, Tiffany is participating in the program and to celebrate that fact, she is doing a giveaway of not one, but TWO $100 Target gift cards over on her blog. Now, I know a lot of y'all who read my little corner of the internet are parents, and what parent wouldn't want their child to have good skills in the areas of resilience and positive thinking? Also, (even if you aren't a parent), who wouldn't want a $100 Target gift card? I managed to spend that in my mind in about 15 seconds flat!

So, if you are interested in learning more about Fishful Thinking or entering the giveaway, pop over to Tiffany's blog and check it out! (And if you blog but aren't a member of SITS, you might want to check that site out too; they've got big doings in the works for next week and it is a great way to discover new and fabulous bloggers!)

Positive thinking isn't just for kids - I know I prefer to be around positive people, people that make the best of a situation or even know how to laugh when things aren't going exactly their way. Such great life lessons for us all. I'm going to pop over to tiffany's blog from here, because, like you, I could spend that target card in my sleep! :)
