The Weather Channel is just chock full of bad news this morning... The forecast for tomorrow at noon, when we'd hoped to be grilling up some birthday lunch for ourselves and seven other people and then dining on the deck while the kids play? Rain. Rain. Rain. The forecast for Saturday, when we are hosting the kiddo's classmates-n-friends birthday party at the park (current count: 18 kids plus parents, with 8 kids who haven't RSVPed yet - the "RSVP by" date being last Friday)? Thunderstorms.
Nooooooooooo!!!
If I had my choice of which one of the two birthday events would be rainy, I'd choose tomorrow. We can reasonably accommodate seven extra people indoors at our house. Saturday is still a long way off, weather-prediction-wise, so I still have fingers crossed that it will be nice, at least from 11:00-1:00.
If anyone has any pull with Mother Nature, kindly put in a good word for us for Saturday, will ya? Many thanks!
